Early Years

Professional Studies

 In 2007 he was accepted at the Conservatorio de Música de Puerto Rico (Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music) where he studied two years with the Miyazawa Artist and Principal Flute of the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra, Josué Casillas. There he studied solfege with Luis Bermúdez and Victor Meléndez. He also studied music theory with Manuel Ceide and conducting with Roselín Pabón. He participated in the Flute Choir Conducted by Cynthia Cartagena, the Symphony Orchestra Conducted by Roselín Pabón and Chamber Music with Josué Casillas.      In 2009, Bryan moved to North Carolina to study at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem. There he  studied with the Miyazawa Artist and International Soloist Dr. Tadeu Coelho. There he played with the UNCSA Wind Ensemble, Flute Quartet, Wind Quintet and the UNCSA Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the virtuoso flutist Ransom Wilson. In December 2010 he moved back to Puerto Rico. He is completing his Undergrad Degree at the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music. Back in Puerto Rico he has performed with the Camerata Philharmonic Orchestra, Stastkapelle Quintet, the Jazz Quartet Trio D’4 and the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra where he is the first call flute and piccolo. He is giving solo performances and private lessons. Bryan García-Rolón has performed in different parts of the world including North and South America, Europe and the Caribbean.
